First, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your generosity in sponsoring our family this Christmas. Your kindness means more to us than words can convey, and we are so incredibly thankful for your support.

Our journey has been a challenging one, and it all began in early 2020. In June of that year, our son, Antrone (who goes by the nickname "June June"), was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It all started with small signs — he began holding his arm up and walking with a limp. We took him to the hospital, where doctors told us it was nothing serious and advised us to give him Tylenol. Despite this, his condition continued to worsen, and he lost weight, stopped eating, and became more lethargic.

We took him back to the doctor, and that's when things took a dramatic turn. Antrone was rushed to MUSC Children's Hospital, where he was diagnosed with leukemia. The doctors immediately put a treatment plan in place, and we began our long, hard journey through chemotherapy. Over the next two years, Antrone fought with incredible courage and strength. We are beyond thankful to say that as of October 2022, he has been in remission.

Today, Antrone is thriving. He's in kindergarten, and his teachers are constantly impressed by his intelligence, kindness, and work ethic. He excels in his studies, particularly in reading and math, and has even received awards for being on track to attend college one day. He is an exceptional student and a joy to be around.

Antrone is more than just a great student; he is a loving, energetic, and thoughtful young boy. He helps others, listens intently, and has an infectious spirit that brightens everyone’s day. His strength, both emotionally and physically, continues to inspire us all.
