Dear Donors,

Every year I think how blessed we are to be part of a great group of families that understand the struggle of a family with cancer or even in remission because the recovery is not over, at times it takes years for some. That day back in August 2020 when Noah was diagnosed our family went into turmoil, 4 years later we are still adjusting.

Here we are in the 4th year of recovery and Noah is still struggling. We are dealing with loss of hearing in one ear, Seizures, non-epileptic seizures, not being able to eat at times, issues with walking and mental health issues. These past couple months Noah has been going through things emotionally and has expressed he does not want to do this anymore. He has slowly given up and it has been hard watching it happen. Every day is a struggle for him and as well as for the family.

Every month we struggle financially as unfortunately I took a cut in pay to be able to care for Noah. I am still missing work as there are times when Noah cannot make the whole day at school. He falls behind on schoolwork and gets overwhelmed. We are currently working with the school for services for loss of hearing. He lost his earring aide and now I am saving up money to get another one. He did not realize it fell off his ear.

At the end of the day, we do our best as a family to pull together and I am so ever grateful for all the donor’s generosity in helping many families.
