Jream's Story

Hello my name is Latoya Forest. I am a single mother of 4 ages 21, 16, 9, and 1. I ask for help to put a smile on my children face for Christmas. I am unable to work due being disabled with cerebral palsy. My 9 year old name is Jermaine Thompson he was born with a rare disease called biliary atresia which caused him to have a liver transplant at the age of 1. He is great now but still have to have routine labs check ups in Charleston. Two years ago, my 16 year old son name is Jalek was diagnosed with leukemia. Jalek is doing great and is now in remission. He also still has to have regular routine labs done in Charleston. This is very difficult being a single mother on disability. My baby girl is 1 years old and she is healthy from head to toe thank god. She was just what we needed to bring some joy into our lives. The holidays are very hard for us due to the fact of losing our loved ones around the holidays. So I appreciate all the help possible to make the holidays more enjoyable for my children. Thanks for your help.
