Victoria's tumor was the size of volleyball
Victoria was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma October 2016 at 18 months. When diagnosed with cancer Victoria had a volleyball-sized tumor on her right kidney. She went through 5 rounds of chemotherapy and the tumor decreased to the size of a baseball. Doctors were then successfully at removing the tumor.
In all Victoria has received 6 rounds of chemo, 3 surgeries, a bone marrow transplant, 20 rounds of radiation, and is now going through immunotherapy.
Victoria has been so strong, brave, happy, and a huge inspiration to all through her treatment. This has all become her norm and she loves to play doctor to her sister, mom and dad.
She has been a motherly, kind-hearted, sweet soul since she was born. She makes friends with medical staff on every floor she has been to and has become a favorite of many. We believe Victoria and our family has been given this journey for a reason and she is going to have a beautiful testimony to share.
Thank you for thinking of us this holiday season. We are humbled by Courageous Kids and Charleston Elves’ generosity.
