Dear Charleston Elves,

The words thank you do not convey the magnitude of gratitude that our family feels for your generosity and kindness to us this Christmas. We had such a wonderful Christmas!!  When childhood cancer strikes your family your immediate and only concern is for the survival and well being of your child.  You don't care what it costs, you don't care what you have to sacrifice. Beating cancer and continuing to live is all that matters.  As time goes on and as the battle continues the stress of other issues begin to mount.  How do we spend enough time with our other children? How do we stay on top of  work and school? How are we going to pay all these bills? And the list goes on. We are so thankful that Forester, at 9,  is doing so well. After 2 years of fighting brain cancer he is cancer free and life is returning to normal.  Our Christmas was very merry for so many reasons! But when dealing with children and cancer - they don't understand that Christmas won't be the same this year because cancer is expensive.  They can't grasp the magnitude of what they've endured and what it has cost. Nor do you want them to!  Your AMAZING gift to help us with Christmas this year has blessed us more than you will ever know.  We were blown away by all the thoughtful gifts - I mean IN SHOCK! As you can see from the pictures below, the children had the best Christmas ever & in turn so did we.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for easing our burden and blessing us immensely at the same time.  May God bless you!

Peace & Blessings
